Our small nonprofit was already growing exponentially in 2019 and early 2020, but the pandemic definitely accelerated our need to move operations online. Previously, all of our registrations and applications were done in person and on paper. Information was disseminated through a hodgepodge of email and social media, and our volunteers spent an inordinate amount of time fielding questions and redistributing information. Our Board of Directors spent countless hours attempting to remedy the situation using Google Sites and Google Forms, but it quickly became apparent that we needed to hire a professional web designer.
